Who will be Mona Lisa’s perfect guests?

Most competitions if not all offer a great deal to the winner by the end of it. I mean, who wouldn’t want to be Mona Lisa’s perfect guest? Airbnb is offering you a once in a life time night at the Louvre, in recognition of the 30th year marked by the museum’s iconic pyramid entrance. Through a competition, one lucky winner and a guest will spend the 30th of April night, inside the pyramid which sits in the Louvre’s courtyard. The lucky guests who will prove to be the ‘perfect’ guests, will not only enjoy drinks with their host Mona Lisa, but will also get to dine with ‘Venus de Milo’. But that is not all, the two will get to relax and unwind in Napoleon’s III apartment, staged inside the museum before retiring to their sleep in the small glass pyramid.

Encouraging the public to sign up for the competition, Airbnb wrote “Presidents and celebrities have had this exclusive opportunity. Now it's your turn. On April 30th, you could have the opportunity to sleep beneath the glittering glass and stars in the heart of Paris.”

The museum’s continuous efforts to achieve a greater attendance record yearly has not gone unnoticed. Last year, it welcomed 10 million visitors through its mega hit shows, including Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s hit music video, “Apes**t” which features the couple in the museum after hours.

The Airbnb and the Louvre’s partnership will continue with a series of events that are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.

To stand a chance of experiencing the ‘world’s most famous museum when doors are shut and the lights go out, as the museum wrote on its website, competitors are required to fill out Airbnb’s form which asks if you are able to travel between April 28th and May 2nd. Also, one is required to plainly express the reasons as to why they you would be Mona Lisa’s perfect guest.
