Open Call For Artists: Fall 2023


Photo Trouvée Virtual Artist Residency:

Application Deadline: October 1, 2023


Trouvée Magazine is offering virtual residency led by Juliana Naufel & Twiggy Boyer. During this 9-week program, artists are encouraged to set goals for their practice and join group projects that will allow them to connect with like-minded artists. The residency is allotted for 12 international artists that share similar themes of found photography and/or family photography. Artists are welcome to work within this theme in a variety of mediums. Through weekly Zoom calls and small group feedback sessions, artists will be able to collaborate and grow their practice.




Keyholder Residency:

Application Deadline: September 1, 2023



From the 1st of October, the Keyholder Residency Program is offering emerging artists access to printmaking facilities to support the development of new work and encourage artistic careers. Keyholders are welcome to work alongside contemporary artists and have technical support from experts in this shared studio. Through this residency, artists chosen, are presented with opportunities to showcase their new work during events led by the Printshop.



The 5th Chelsea International Photography Competition:

Application Deadline: October 24th, 2023



The Chelsea International is offering photographers a chance to enter and exhibit their work in an international competition in the heart of New York. This competition will be judged by a panel of distinguished and talented jurors for a chance to win an exciting variety of valuable prizes! Photographers around the world are welcome to enter this competition at any stage of their artistic career.




Wild & Tamed Juried Art Competition:

Application Deadline: September 30, 2023



The Blue Koi Gallery is inviting artists to participate in their Wild and Tamed Animals Art Competition. This competition is a celebration of the untamed and the domesticated. With a 10% donation to Animal Rescue, the competition is encouraging artists to capture the connection between humans, wildlife, and domestication. Artists are welcome to submit work in any medium that best captures this theme and can be at any level of artistic skill set. Prizes are set to $100 with honourable recognition for the winner.
