THE LAST DREAM - FRIDA AND DIEGO

@MUSEUM OF MODERN ART 21 MAR, 2026 - 12 SEPT, 2026 Frida and Diego: The Last Dream celebrates Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera—two of Mexico’s most beloved icons of 20th-century art—in a first-of-its-kind collaboration with the Metropolitan Opera. Organized in conjunction with the Met’s new production of El Último Sueño de Frida y Diego, the presentation at MoMA features artworks by Kahlo and Rivera in an elaborate setting designed by Jon Bausor, the set and co-costume designer of the opera. For both the opera and installation, Bausor evokes the artists’ lives and artworks in his theatrical designs. Discover more

LEON KOSSOFF @LUHRING AUGUSTINE

Luhring Augustine, in partnership with the Leon Kossoff Estate, is delighted to present an exhibition of works by the celebrated British artist, opening in our Chelsea location on April 16, 2026. Bringing together paintings from across Kossoff’s career, the exhibition will offer one of the most substantial presentations of the artist’s work to be held in New York in recent decades. In conjunction with the exhibition, Luhring Augustine will publish a fully illustrated catalogue featuring a specially commissioned essay by the acclaimed critic, Hilton Als. Discover more

CLIO ART FAIR MAY 2026 @511 West 25th Street, New York, NY 10001 May 7–10 & May 14–17, 2026

Clio Art Fair, the leading independent art fair that champions self-represented artists, returns to Chelsea this spring with two consecutive editions: May 7–10 and May 14–17, 2026. THE JOURNEY - RISHA GORIG @PROSPECT PARK, BROOKLYN 20 APR, 2026 - 28 AUG, 2026 "The Journey" by Risha Gorig is presented by NYC Parks' Art in the Park program and the Prospect Park Alliance, the nonprofit that operates the park in partnership with the city. This site-specific installation near the park's historic Boathouse is on view through Aug. 31. "The Journey" depicts a flock of neon-pink kinetic birds suspended 1s feet in the air, wings catching and releasing with the wind. Discover more
