TAROT! RENAISSANCE SYMBOLS, MODERN VISIONS

@THE MORGAN LIBRARY & MUSEUM 26 JUN - 04 OCT, 2026 Conceived in two parts, this exhibition explores the origins of tarot in Renaissance Italy and its contemporary relevance as an enduring source of inspiration for twentieth- and twenty-first-century artists. DEMONSTRATE - SONIA BOYCE @QUEENS MUSEUM 27 JUN - 31 JAN, 2027

Demonstrate is an ambitious installation that recognizes the importance of the “voice” as a vehicle for freedom, collaboration, and radical imagination. Emblematic of Boyce’s practice, the exhibition emerges from film and photographic documentation generated over two days of gatherings and events at the Queens Museum. Working directly with local organizations, these film shoots brought together New Yorkers, artists, educators, and the Resistance Revival Chorus to explore how artistic expression can mobilize communities.
