A YEAR WITH CHILDREN 2026

@SOLOMON R. GUGGENHEIM MUSEUM 08 MAY, 2026 - 07 JUN, 2026 A Year with Children 2026 presents artwork by students participating in Learning Through Art (LTA), the Guggenheim’s artist-in-residence program in New York City public schools. For more than 50 years, LTA has paired teaching artists with educators to design collaborative, multi-session projects that connect artistic practice with classroom learning. The program is shaped by the questions, interests, and experiences of New York City students. For the first time, residencies across 12 schools in all five boroughs were grounded in a shared concept: transformation. Discover more

INTO THE GREEN - MARIT TINGLEFF @HB381 08 MAY, 2026 - 20 JUN, 2026 HB381 is delighted to announce Into the Green, a solo exhibition by one of Scandinavia’s leading ceramic artists, Marit Tingleff (b. 1954, Norway). A painter among ceramicists, Tingleff is known for her gestural application of slips and oxides on monolithic coil-built clay slabs. By marking her surfaces with turbid, scrawled lines and streaking rivulets of slip, she produces roiling, epistolary abstractions on vast ceramic surfaces. Their blunt linear markings and dark, circuitous contours bear the quality of writing or sketch; in their proportions, her ceramics mimic the slow kinetics of natural forces etching landscape. The alternations of dense rhythmic patterning and areas of muted erosion are intrinsic to her process. Discover more

CLIO ART FAIR MAY 2026 @511 West 25th Street, New York, NY 10001 May 7–10 & May 14–17, 2026

Clio Art Fair, the leading independent art fair that champions self-represented artists, returns to Chelsea this spring with two consecutive editions: May 7–10 and May 14–17, 2026. Each week will feature a completely new roster of 35+ international artists and artist collectives, offering collectors, curators, and the public a fresh and diverse experience across both weekends. Clio Art Fair continues to break the mold of traditional art fairs by providing a high-visibility platform for artists without exclusive gallery representation. Focused on direct connection, authenticity, and discovery, Clio has become a must-attend event for those seeking what’s next in contemporary art.
