WHEN I DON'T SLEEP, I DREAM - WIFREDO LAM
@MUSEUM OF MODERN ART | MOMA 10 NOV, 2025 - 28 MAR, 2026
Wifredo Lam’s paintings expanded the horizons of modernism by creating a meaningful space for the beauty and depth of Black diasporic culture. Born in Cuba at the start of the 20th century, Lam forged his political convictions and commitment to modern painting in war-torn Europe in the 1930s. His exile and return to the Caribbean after 18 years abroad drove him to radically reimagine his artistic project through Afro-Caribbean histories. Discover more

RIPPLE - MELISSA MCGILL
12 NOV, 2025 - 31 JAN, 2026
TOTAH presents Ripple, an exhibition of recent works by Melissa McGill. Ripple opens on Wednesday, November 12th, 2025. This is McGill’s third solo exhibition with the gallery. Taking water in its most elemental sense—as both an acculturated symbol and an ecological fact shaping the collective experience of life on earth—McGill’s current body of work engages with cartography to reveal how modern systems of measurement contain fluid geographies prefigured by the expansiveness of water. Easy dichotomies like figuration and abstraction fall away in the face of McGill’s enlarged conception of water, which quite literally reshapes the relationship between map and territory— both materially and contextually, in form as well as in content. THE BANSHEES AND THEIR FAIRY FRIENDS IN THE SHADOW FOREST - ZINI LARDIERI
22 NOV 2025 - 21 DEC 2025
A.I.R. Gallery is pleased to announce The Banshees and Their Fairy Friends in the Shadow Forest, an installation of sculptures and projections of their filmed shadows by A.I.R. New York Member Zini Lardieri. This is the artist’s second solo exhibition at A.I.R. The solstice is a threshold. A night of fire, of bodies in shadow, until the balance shifts and days grow. The solstice is also a mirror, showing us how close absence sits to renewal.Â

ALL ONE - JASON MCCORMACK
@RIVERSIDE PARK SOUTH, MANHATTAN 22 OCT, 2025 - 07 SEPT, 2026
McCormack’s rotating sculpture celebrates individuality and shared humanity. Composed of three painted portraits in primary colors, the work transforms with each turn, creating endlessly shifting faces that invite reflection on the paradox of difference and unity.
