Postcards from Miami Art Week 2025

Miami Art Week 2025 came and went in a rush of color, sound, and warm December air — a week where the city felt bigger than itself, overflowing with art on every corner. From sunrise moments on the beach to midnight fairs glowing under neon lights, Miami offered a collage of experiences that were intimate, overwhelming, and unforgettable all at once.

This edition of Postcards from Miami gathers the events that shaped our week — from Es Devlin’s meditative oceanfront installation to the energy of Wynwood’s wellness-meets-nightlife festival, and the vibrant presence of Alessandro Berni Gallery across three major fairs. Together, they paint a picture of a city that thrives on contrast: soft and loud, reflective and electric, grounded and utterly surreal.

Faena Art Week — “Library of Us” by Es Devlin

📅 December 02 – 07, 2025

📍 Faena Beach, Miami Beach

Es Devlin’s “Library of Us” became one of the most contemplative highlights of the week. Her 50-foot rotating sculpture, placed within a reflective pool and surrounded by a circular reading table, created a rare moment of calm in the middle of Art Week’s intensity. Visitors sat, read, watched, and fell into a shared stillness as the structure turned slowly beneath the open sky.

Inside Faena Cathedral and the Faena Project Room, Devlin expanded the narrative through drawings, glassworks, and her meditative “Reading Room.” At the end of the week, all 2,500 books used in the installation were prepared for donation to Miami-area schools and libraries — a powerful closing gesture. Art With Me Miami

📅 December 5–6, 2025

📍 RC Cola Plant & Mana Wynwood Green Space

Art With Me brought two days of immersive creativity, wellness, and nightlife energy. By day, the festival offered breathwork, yoga, ice baths, and meditation sessions — grounding moments that contrasted beautifully with the chaos of Art Week.

When the sun went down, Wynwood lit up with tribal electronic sets and hypnotic performances. CamelPhat, Sofi Tukker, WhoMadeWho, Eric Prydz, Luciano, Dixon b2b Jimi Jules, and Lee Burridge pushed the energy deep into the night, while fire dancers and acrobats created an atmosphere that felt both intimate and otherworldly. As Miami Art Week comes to a close, the city leaves behind a familiar afterglow — that mix of inspiration, exhaustion, and possibility that only this week can create. What stays with us are the moments: a sculpture rotating at sunset, the pulse of music under Wynwood’s sky, and the unexpected discoveries made inside fairs, courtyards, and pop-up spaces.

These postcards capture fragments of a city that becomes a living canvas for one extraordinary week each year. And, as always, Miami reminds us why we return: to be surprised, to be moved, and to carry its energy long after the week ends.
